A Wilmington-based nuclear reactor fuel supplier has been awarded a $100 million contract extension. Global Nuclear Fuel announced Monday that Entergy has extended a contract with the company through 2021. The contract is for eight fuel reloads at Entergy four boiling water nuclear reactors in New York, Massachusetts, Mississippi and Louisiana. Fuel for the nuclear plants will be produced at Global Nuclear Fuel`s Wilmington facility.
