Hindustan Salts Limited, through its subsidiary Sambhar Salts, has issued a tender to develop an ultra-mega solar project of up to 4 GW at Sambhar in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The government-owned salt company also issued an expression of interest to develop a solar project of up to 1 GW capacity at Kharaghoda in Surendranagar, Gujarat.

The last date to submit bids for both tenders is December 13, 2021. Bids will be opened the next day. Bidders are not required to furnish any earnest money deposit for these tenders.
