Montenegro`s central bank, CBCG, has invited bids for the delivery of management services in the process of asset quality review (AQR) of local banks. The services include the organisation and coordination of the AQR process, the provision of expert support to the central bank regarding the implementation of asset quality reviews by phases, quality assurance and consulting services, the CBCG said in a notice last week. The estimated value of the public procurement contract is 790,000 euro ($881,000) and the deadline for the submission of bids is January 20. The CBCG considers the AQR to be the most effective tool for assessing the quality of the banks` assets and strengthening the confidence in the banking system.
