Penspen consortium wins contract for five Kuwait power stations

The UK firm will work with Kuwait`s Jassim Qabazard Engineering Consultants on the three-year supervision services contract. Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity and Water (Mew) has awarded a supervision services contract for five power stations in the country to a consortium led by UK-headquartered engineering and project management company Penspen.

UK firm will implement the three-year contract alongside Kuwait’s Jassim Qabazard Engineering Consultants, an architectural and engineering consultancy. Under the scope of the contract, Penspen’s team will be responsible for the management and administration of the procurement and construction contractors. Procurement and construction contractors will deliver residual engineering services, as well as detailed engineering work based on requirement. They will be involved with the project through to the commissioning stages of the power stations.
