Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has issued a Request for Selection (RfS) for the purchase of 1,000 MW of power from grid-connected solar photovoltaic power projects located in Dholera Solar Park (phase V). The last date for submission of bids is February 15, 2019. The technical bids will open on February 16, 2019 and financial bids will open on February 22, 2019. The GUVNL will enter into power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidder for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date of the project.

The total capacity of 1,000 MW has been divided into 20 plots (50 MW x 20) in the solar park and the project will be developed on Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis. A bidder will be allowed to place a bid for a minimum of 50 MW capacity or in multiples of 50 MW. The tariff quoted by bidders will be single and uniform for all the plots and capacity irrespective of the number of plots and capacity quoted by bidder.
