The town has issued a request for proposals from solar energy developers to install, own, operate, maintain and decommission solar photovoltaic energy systems on town-owned property. A legal advertisement issued by the town, Rutland intends to select and enter into a lease agreement and power/net metering purchase agreement for solar generation with the firm providing the most advantageous proposal to the Town.

All interested firms are invited to attend a mandatory preproposal conference at 1 p.m. Jan. 14. To obtain a copy of the RFP, contact the town’s Owner’s Agent, Beth Greenblatt of Beacon Integrated Solutions. Sealed responses are due by 1 p.m. Feb. 11, to the Town of Rutland.
