Vinci subsidiary Eurovia has won two design and build contracts for motorways in Poland. The contracts have a combined value of €120m (£84m). The client, the Polish National Roads and Motorways Department, decided to award the contracts to a single company that could provide an integrated service, in particular making use of its network of quarries.

The S3 motorway contract involves a 19.7km section of dual carriageway and 12 structures south of the city of Legnica, near the border with the Czech Republic. This road forms part of the international E65 route in the trans-European corridor. Works will start in April 2016 and are expected to last 30 months, excluding winter periods. The second contract is for a bypass to the town of Szczecinek in Western Pomerania in the north-west of Poland. Work is expected to take 34 months, excluding winter months.
