Sealed Tenders are invited by BDL from Indian / Foreign suppliers having sound technical & financial capabilities and experience of successfully completing supply & commissioning of similar items, on best offer basis under TWO BID SYSTEM for supply of the following items:
» Bharat Dynamics Limited intends to award contract for hiring 8 Nos. of 25 seater Mini buses, 9 Nos. of 13 Seater van and 4 Nos.of 10 Seater Tata Sumos of 2005 or later models for transportation of our employees from various locations of Hyderabad, Secunderabad and surrounding area to BDL, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad in shifts and General Shift.

1. Any clarification can be had from MANAGER (IMM - GP), BHARAT DYNAMICS LIMITED, BHANUR - LIMITED, BHANUR - 502305, A.P, INDIA: Phone No. 0091-040-23469164 and fax no: 0091-040-23469554 on all working days between 10.00 hrs and 1600 hrs.
2. Foreign suppliers shall pay the tender document fee and EMD in US dollars by crossed Demand Draft only, payable in India. Tender document fee and Earnest Money Deposit as specified in the tender documents should be submitted as per 2.0
3. Tender documents can be purchased from MANAGER (IMM - GP), BDL-BHANUR by paying Tender fee in the form of Demand draft only or can be down loaded from our Web site: http://bdl.ap.nic.in., in that case Tender fee and EMD amounts in the form of separate DDs should accompany the Technical Bid. Other mode of payment i.e. other than Demand Draft is not acceptable and no deviation in this regard. Tenders without EMD and tender fee will not be considered and summarily be rejected
2.0 Quotations are to be submitted separately but simultaneously in three sealed covers, 1st Cover – “Demand drafts of Tender document fee & EMD”, 2nd Cover - “Technical Bid” & 3rd Cover - “Price cum Commercial Bid”. All the three covers super scribing their details should be kept in a separate sealed cover. Tender shall be submitted item wise separately. All the covers should be superscribed by its contents viz., Tender fee & EMD, Technical bid, Price cum commercial bid, etc. The price cum commercial bids of the firms whose Technical Bids meet our requirements only will be considered.
2.1 Bids for Imported items shall be submitted by the foreign suppliers only and no Indian agent is to be involved.
3.0 Bidders who do not comply with above clauses will be summarily rejected. BDL reserves the right to postpone / cancel / reject any of the Tenders received partly or full without assigning any reason what so ever.
3.1 Please read the other conditions given in the item wise details.

1) The subject tender is for the supply of the following item as per the special conditions placed at ANNEXURE-‘A’
MACHINING OF MANIFOLD TO DRG.NO.WMD052100071
2) The tenderers should submit the quotation as per the instructions placed at ANNEXURE-‘A,B’ & C “ in addition to the following conditions:
2 - A) TWO BID SYSTEM:
I. Quotation must be submitted in two-bid system in sealed covers i.e
a. Tender fee & EMD separately
b. Technical Bid separately and
c. Price cum commercial bid separately.
All the above three sealed covers should be kept simultaneously in one sealed cover. All sealed covers should be subscribed clearly with:

1. Reference No. on the Tender advertisement & date.
2. Tender Serial No. & Title of the item
3. Closing date of the Tender
4. Tender fee & EMD, Technical Bid or Commercial bid as the case may be.
II. The Technical bid shall contain the following details as applicable.
• Full & complete technical specifications.
• Conformance & deviation statement with remarks in comparison with tendered conditions.
• Delivery period
• QA Plan / Test certificates.
• Compliance to the price bid for 100 nos. and 200 nos. to be indicated.
III. Technical bid shall not contain any reference to price.
IV. The commercial bid shall contain the following details.
• Taxes, duties & VAT etc. as applicable. • Payment terms • FOR destination i.e. BDL stores. • The price bid shall contain the separate offers for quantity 100 nos.and 200 nos.respectively.
V. The Quotation amongst other things should contain the following:
• List of customers to whom similar machining items has been supplied in the past in India along with Xerox copies of orders executed during the last 3 years.
• Test charts regarding accuracy.
• Details regarding capacity, operational advantages.
VI. Tenders should give the price breakup & other information such as total price, Taxes & duties applicable.
VII. Quotation/Tender should be addressed only to Manager, General Administration Department, Bharat Dynamics Limited, KANCHANBAGH, HYDRABAD-500058, A.P, INDIA: Phone No. 0091-040-24587029.
VIII. BDL reserves the right to place order for 100 nos. or 200 nos.
2 - B) TENDER FEE : Rs 5000.00
• The TENDER FEE shall be paid by way of A/C payee Crossed Demand Draft /Pay order only from a scheduled Bank payable in India drawn in favour of “BHARAT DYNAMICS LTD, KANCHAN BAGH, HYDERABAD”.
• Those who are collecting the tender documents personally/ by post can handover/send the DD / pay order to DGM (IMM) ,Naval Division.
• Those who are down loading the tender document from website shall send the tender fee along with technical bid only
2 - C) EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT (EMD) :
Amount of EMD: : Rs. 2,00,000/-
• The EMD shall be paid by way of A/C payee Crossed Demand Draft / Pay order only from a scheduled Bank payable in India. It is to be noted that the EMD shall form part of the technical bid only. No other form such as BG / Corporate Guarantee / Indemnity Bond /cheque is acceptable.

• Also refer clause 6 of ANNEXURE-B
2 - D) SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD):
• The successful tenderer will have to deposit immediately on acceptance of tender, towards security deposit by Demand Draft/Pay Order/Bank Guarantee from scheduled bank for 10% value of the order.

• Where the successful tenderer refuses / unable to furnish the security deposit within the time specified, he not only looses the order but also the EMD shall be forfeited. The EMD to the successful tenderer shall be refunded only after the security deposit is furnished / adjusted against SD where required.
3) Any purchase order arising out of this tender will be governed by the following.
For indigenous Purchase Orders:
a) “General terms & conditions of the purchase order (P.O) indigenous” placed at ANNEXURE –C, and
b) Special Terms & Conditions that will be incorporated in the P.O as applicable.
4) PRE INSPECTION: BDL reserves the right to depute its Engineers and also the Naval inspection agency to the works of the manufacturers for undertaking inter stage and pre dispatch inspection of the item before delivery.
5) Any clarification can be had from DGM(IMM)ND Bharat Dynamics Limited, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad – 500 058, AP. 040 – 24587710, fax no: 040-24340322 on all working days. Between 9.00 hrs. and 16. 00 hrs.
